The O.P.C.R. will hold its next International Conference on Sustainable Best Practices in Programs for Children and Youth (Youth Leadership, Social Problems and Environment) on May 27th and 28th, 2009 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The Summit will bring together renowned and eminent individuals from all five major regions of the world over a two day period in order to identify highly promising programs or programs that are considered best practices dealing with children and youth pertaining to youth leadership, youth employability, children’s health, street gangs, violence, poverty, child labor, and trafficking. Experts from around the world will share their knowledge regarding what works in order to promote best practices on a world wide scale and therefore present recommendations that will help to surmount the difficulties faced on a daily basis by the children of the world. The ultimate goal is to advance the sustainability of the best practices regarding the themes of the Summit.
