The Changing Family: Vulnerability and Adaptation

The Organization for the Protection of Children’s Rights (O.P.C.R) organized a 2nd International Conference on the Child with the theme : «The Changing Family: Vulnerability and Adaptation». This conference was held on October 8, 9 and 10, 1992 at the Sheraton Center in Montreal.

More than 150 speakers took part in this important international forum. Among the participating countries at this conference were: Argentina, England, Barbados, Belgium, Canada, United States, France, Italy, Netherlands and Thailand.
The goal of this international event was to initiate discussions between professionals, with various specializations, who have the cause of children at heart. The participants worked on defining the prevention tools and required means to resolve problems that particularly affect children.
